My fondest memories must be from when each of the three girls have been wearing the same merino wool overall and I’ve laid them down to their pram to sleep. Our youngest loved her overalls so much that even at five she still needed two of them: one for wearing outside and another for sleeping in all winter.
We got a wool overall from our relatives as it had gotten too small for their child and we fell in love with it. It's thin but warm and you don't have to dress your child with many layers even in the winter. Now that the overall became too small it was a given that we'll get another one.
The woolen overall has been unbelievably wonderful and handy for my daugher's first year. Under the snow suit in the winter time and feels soft and keeps warm during spring and fall. They are also durable and have been handed down several times between cousins and other small relatives. Now with the money given to us as a Christmas present I bought the first new wool overall for my girl.
